Project
This project consisted of the demo of (3) existing buildings and the construction of one all-encompassing music venue to replace them. It consisted of a new utility transformer feeding a 2,000 amp service, new sub-panels throughout, new rooftop generator, featured lighting, general duty power, feed to HVAC equipment, and the installation of a complete fire alarm system with specialized smoke control.
Special Challenges
The House of Blues was constructed to be tied into smaller existing buildings to be reused as restaurants and bars which required intense coordination with other general and electrical contractor teams, especially with the interconnect of the fire alarm system.
